Chance Marsteller made a triumphant return to college wrestling on Sunday, Nov. 5, at the Clarion Open.
The former Kennard-Dale High School standout, who has missed nearly two years of college competition while dealing with some well-publicized off-the-mat issues, dominated on his way to the 165-pound weight-class championship.
The redshirt junior for Lock Haven University won four of his five bouts by technical fall, including a 20-5 decision over Demetrius Romero of Utah Valley University in the title match. Marsteller came into the event with the No. 2 seed, while Romero was the No. 4 seed.
