DALLASTOWN — Sometimes having talent alone is not enough in competitive high school athletics.

While the Central York boys’ lacrosse program has never really had a shortage of talent over the years, there’s something different about this year’s squad.

“I think this year we’re more mature,” Panther coach Tom Mayne said. “I don’t know if we have more talent, but I think we have talent that has grown up.”
