The York College bats came alive in a huge way during the first game of Sunday’s home baseball doubleheader against Capital Athletic Conference foe Mary Washington.
A pair of York-Adams Leauge products played a large part in the offensive onslaught, which saw the Spartans pound out 24 hits during a 26-12 slugfest victory.
Kennard-Dale High School graduate graduate Collin Crowell went 3 for 4 with a pair of doubles, six RBIs and three runs scored. York Catholic graduate Patrick Clement posted a 1-for-3 effort with three RBIs and a run scored.
