The Central York softball pitching staff isn’t 100 percent healthy to begin the season, yet it’s already apparent the team has an embarrassment of mound riches.
Monday, in the Panthers’ second game of the season, first-year head coach K.J. Livingston trotted out her No. 2 hurler, Briana Smith, to face York-Adams League foe West York. Smith was nearly as dominant as the team’s ace (Courtney Coppersmith) was over the weekend in the team’s opener, a 3-0 win over Northeastern.
