Both York County high school ice hockey teams will play for hardware in two weeks.
With wins Wednesday night, Central York booked its spot in the Central Penn Interscholastic Hockey League’s Tier 2 Viola Cup championship game, while Susquehannock secured its own berth in the Tier 3 Rothrock Cup title contest.
The second-seeded Panthers earned their championship game appearance with a 5-3 victory over No. 4 Manheim Township at the York City Ice Arena in the semifinals.
