The York College men’s basketball team is enjoying its best season ever during the Matt Hunter era.
That season got a whole lot better over the past week when the Spartans picked up three Capital Athletic Conference victories since Tuesday despite having played just two games on the court.
On Tuesday, Mary Washington and the CAC announced that the Eagles’ 94-83 conference win over York on Jan. 21 will be nullified because Mary Washington used an ineligible player. By conference rule, the Jan. 21 result will be reversed in the conference standings. The overall NCAA records for each team are not affected, according to the release.
