It was another busy, and successful, weekend for York-Adams League wrestlers.
Several local athletes brought home hardware from some notable holiday tournaments.
A few local teams took part in the Governor Mifflin Holiday Tournament, with two York County products winning their weight classes.
Right off the bat at 106 pounds, York County flexed its muscles with Dover’s Matthew Rodriguez capturing the title. Along the way, he knocked off Cael Turnbull of Dallastown, who won his first three bouts by pins before falling to Rodriguez by major decision (15-6).
