The conditions were far from picturesque, but Thursday’s game ended up being everything you’d expect from the 600th victory in the storied history of the Dallastown field hockey program.
A series of adjustments heading into the contest paid off handsomely, as the Wildcats traveled to New Oxford and dominated their York-Adams League Division I rival, 5-1.
“It’s awesome,” Dallastown coach Jeri Myers said of the milestone. “How many people can say they have 600 (victories) under their belt?”
